Terms & Disclaimer

Effective date: January 1, 2026

1. About this website

This website (mobilehydraulichoserepair.ca) is operated by Hydraulic Hero (“we,” “us,” “our”), a mobile hydraulic hose repair service based in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Information is general

Content on this site — including hose and fitting specifications, pricing ranges, response-time targets, industry references and FAQs — is provided for general information only. Actual specifications, prices and ETAs for your specific equipment and location will be confirmed by us in writing or by phone before work begins. Nothing on this site constitutes engineering advice, legal advice, or a binding offer.

3. Response time

The “1-hour response” target referenced on this site is a goal, not a guarantee. Actual ETAs depend on traffic, weather, time of day, technician availability and the specific job site. We will give you a real ETA on the call before you hang up.

4. Quotes and pricing

Pricing ranges shown on this site are estimates based on typical jobs. Your final quote will be provided in writing or verbally before work begins and may vary based on hose type, fitting type, after-hours premium, mileage outside the GVA core, complexity, and additional repairs discovered on site. After-hours, weekend and statutory holiday work carries a premium rate, which will be quoted before dispatch.

5. Workmanship warranty

We warrant our workmanship (the crimp and assembly) on field-built hydraulic hose assemblies for thirty (30) days from the date of installation, unless a longer period is agreed in writing on the invoice. Hose and fittings carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which we pass through to you. The following are not covered:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abrasion, kinking, freezing, or improper routing after we leave;
  • Damage caused by chemical exposure outside the rated fluid compatibility;
  • Operation outside the stated pressure, temperature or bend-radius limits of the hose;
  • Modifications to our work performed by anyone else;
  • Failures caused by pre-existing problems we identified but you declined to repair.

6. Customer responsibilities

You agree to provide safe access to the equipment, to identify hazards (including stored pressure, hot fluid and overhead loads), to bleed system pressure where reasonably possible before our arrival, and to be available (or have an authorized representative available) to approve work and accept the completed repair.

7. Hydraulic injection & safety

Hydraulic systems contain high-pressure fluid that can cause severe injury (including fluid-injection injuries that are medical emergencies). Never search for leaks with your hands. Keep bystanders clear of pressurized equipment. We follow safe-work procedures on every call.

8. Environmental responsibility

If hydraulic fluid is spilled, we will deploy our containment kit and follow BC’s Spill Reporting Regulation (B.C. Reg. 187/2017). Spills into a body of water are reportable regardless of volume; spills of 100 L or more are reportable on land. The BC Provincial Emergency Program hotline is 1-800-663-3456.

9. Payment terms

Payment is due on completion of work unless we have agreed to Net-15 or Net-30 terms with you in advance. Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Interac, e-transfer, and invoice for approved commercial accounts. Late accounts may be subject to interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by law, plus reasonable collection costs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost productivity, downtime or loss of business, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party websites for reference. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of those sites.

12. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, logos, layout and code — is owned by Hydraulic Hero or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or republish it without written permission, except as allowed under fair-dealing provisions of Canadian copyright law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in BC. The courts located in Vancouver, BC have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services, except where a different forum is required by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is the one posted on this page on the date of your visit.
